Working with the net, why ?

To get rid of the bar-code, that you always have to put somewhere. To do away with the long line of logos which you never know what to do with. And on the disc itself, no more compact disc digital audio emblem, no more SACEM stuff, and around the disc, no more ready-made sentences about the authorisation of certain rights and the reservation of others, no more stickers on the cellophane.

With the net distribution, you need fewer middle men, which means that the album is cheaper.

Mastering software has become very efficient, so we can master our albums track by track, however we want. And also we can set up shop without the need to paint the premises, just refresh the gate to keep the site clean. And also we can be The One, the one item, the one brand in the shop.

Mind you, I'm not saying that the internet is the new alternative, I'm saying it's a new alternative. It's not the same thing. But it caught my attention, and it seems that it's catching many people's in many places.
